Saswad is a city around 50 kms east of Pune. It can be reached via two routes mainly. The photos below show the more scenic route between the two routes that passes through the Banglore Pune highway for most of the region and then takes a turn to reach Saswad, while passing through the towns of Narayanpur which has the replica of the Balaji Tirupati temple situated arond the Purandhar fort hills. The fort Purandhar can be easily reached via vehicles and the ghat section in its base gives rise to some beautiful views of the hills and valleys around with lots of mountain ranges visible in a single panoramic setting.
